Managing Director

Nikki Bennett ACII CIP

With three decades’ experience in the general insurance industry, Nikki spent seven years as a commercial insurance underwriter and 11 years in broking and schemes management before specialising in compliance. An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, she remains hands-on in providing practical consultancy and support to existing clients and helping new start-ups launch in the marketplace.

Nikki has been managing director of UKGI since June 2015.

Technical Resources Manager

Alastair Haughton

Alastair is an insurance and consumer credit compliance professional who has worked in financial services since 1980 (banking, financial advice, mortgages) and in insurance-related compliance roles since 2000. He joined UKGI in May 2012 and has significant experience in regulatory compliance.

Alastair is a specialist in the FCA rules, guidance and associated legislation, and in the analysis and implementation of legislation and regulation. He believes in compliance as a business enabler, and in making compliance live and breathe.

Dave Anderson

Dave is well known to UKGI clients as an engaging presenter and trainer who regularly delivers technical compliance webinars and seminars. Dave excels at explaining and teaching complex technical subjects and processes in a manner that is easy to understand and follow.

Carrie Summers

Carrie is one of UKGI’s senior management team and has extensive experience in the field of risk management, compliance, and consultancy within the general insurance industry. As Head of Consultancy (Single Service), she is skilled in supporting firms with pragmatic solutions to overcome complex regulatory challenges in a way that helps our clients meet their business objectives. Her team of consultants has a variety of different skills and experience, which adds further value to our clients when needed.
